Youth and Family Ministry looks a little different than it did in pre-Covid times.  Sunday School has been moved online, Lock-ins have been traded in for Lock-outs, and we have had to get creative with our activities.  Read about our highlights from the Fall semester!

We’ve held two Zoom gatherings for our college students! We plan to have an outdoor, in-person gathering in early January before students head back to their campuses.

On September 26 we celebrated Oktoberfest at the Schwartz residence. We enjoyed fellowship, games, dinner, and learning about Oktoberfest.

We held lots of meetings that look like this one. We hold Sunday School each Sunday morning via Zoom and also have a Youth Check-in on Zoom each Friday afternoon.

We held a Youth Lock-Out on the afternoon of October 17. We had worship, games, dinner, and great fellowship!

On November 14 the Youth enjoyed a hike at Beatty Park and an outdoor dinner at the Lakeman residence!

Thanks to the Schwartzes for once again hosting the youth, this time for a Christmas Party. We enjoyed fellowship, pizza and hot chocolate, and an outdoor Christmas movie.

We held a fun Advent Program for children on December 13. We enjoyed Christmas stories, music, and crafts. A big thanks to Emily Foley for leading the crafts portion of the program.

Regardless of what happens with the Covid Pandemic in 2021, we look forward to more fun, worthwhile, and Christ-centered activities in the Spring!
