“What must I do to inherit eternal life?” The question is one that concerns us all. It is answered by how we live our lives now. Jesus told the Parable of the Good Samaritan so that we might know how to love not only those who are like us, but those who are different and those whom the world shuns. Jesus calls us to be good neighbors to all people regardless of who they are, so that all people might know the love and grace of God. Jesus has rescued us from the power of darkness so that we might live as light, loving our neighbor.
