Jesus visited Mary and Martha revealing a God who seeks to dwell with us. We are often like Martha, too busy to spend time with Jesus, yet in spending time with Jesus, Mary received a gift of grace that could never be taken from her. In an anxious and distracted world, Jesus Christ is the image of the unseen God, who gives us the incomparable gift of peace and reconciliation. We proclaim Christ hidden and revealed in the suffering love of the cross for all the world.
