On 12/5 the inaugural “Vespers at St. Mark’s” concert was held, conducted by David Mills, featuring a ten-piece Brass Ensemble, Timpani and Percussion, with Lester Ackerman on organ. The freewill offering were in support of St. Mark’s ongoing Music and Soup Kitchen ministries. St. Mark’s seeks to serve others through its ministries of music and service to the hungry and those in need.

St. Mark’s is a congregation that enjoys sacred music and liturgical worship, while also seeking to serve the world with a servant’s heart. Every Thursday the Soup Kitchen serves the hungry and homeless of the Charlotte area, and has not missed a week during the pandemic. St. Mark’s Music Ministry is blessed each week with gifted musicians and vocalists who help lead by joyfully drawing the gathered community into the divine presence of God.

St. Mark’s is a congregation that unconditionally welcomes people of all ethnicities, genders, identities and backgrounds. We believe that in Baptism all are made one in Christ, who uses all of our gifts for God’s glory and in service to our neighbors and to the world.
