Today’s readings remind us to pray always, struggle with God’s word, and not to lose heart. Lift your eyes to the hills again this week, knowing that your help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. Petition the Lord in prayer and wrestle with God’s presence in your life. God is faithful and will not fail to come to you, leaving you with a blessing. As Jacob received a new name, in baptism you have been named as a child of God /so that you might live in God’s name for others.
