In today’s gospel, Jesus says he is the way, truth and life, and promises that he goes to prepare a place for us in his Father’s house. He invites us to ask in his name, reminding us that our lives and our times are lived in his name. Peter also declares that we are the “living stones” of a spiritual house, a royal priesthood, and a people chosen to proclaim Jesus Christ, who has called us out of darkness and into his marvelous light!
