Today is sometimes called “Good Shepherd Sunday.” Jesus is the Good Shepherd who lives raised to shepherd us into abundant life in him. He leads us to green pastures and restores us in the waters of Baptism. In the Eucharist, he spreads a feast before us amid the world’s violence and war. He lives that you might have life and have it abundantly.
