On July 3rd, led by Pastor Tim, Mari and Seiko K., youth and parents gathered to cook a Japanese meal together.

   

We made teriyaki chicken, miso vegetable soup, shredded cabbage salad, Japanese potato salad, and rice.

Pastor Tim, Mari and Seiko sang a Japanese table blessing, and after dinner we ended the evening with “ippon jime” or a “single handclap closing.”  Fun was had by all!
