The Sundays after Epiphany continue to celebrate the revelation of God’s glory in Jesus Christ. Paul writes to the Corinthians encouraging them to know that the Holy Spirit gives varieties of gifts and ways of service. In today’s gospel, we remember Jesus’ first sign at the wedding at Cana. In Christ the best wine is saved for last, a foretaste of his holy supper and of the in-breaking of God’s kingdom in him.
