The Soup Kitchen received colorfully decorated Halloween themed to-go bags and cards from students at Charlotte Country Day, which we used to serve lunches with on 10/28. A longtime friend of the Soup Kitchen, Albert from “Forever Learning Youth,” also stopped by with three young friends to volunteer on 10/28. We are very thankful for so many volunteers and friends each week who donate funds, deliver food, gather to prepare food, distribute lunches outside, and visit with our neighbors in this ministry of God’s presence. Thank you for welcoming our neighbors with Christ’s love.
