In Isaiah, God invites all who are hungry or thirsty to receive without cost. In Jesus, all people are invited into God’s eternal covenant, and Jesus feeds all who come to him. There was more than enough for all when Jesus fed the crowds, because he is the bread of life. In the Eucharistic today, we are fed and forgiven, so that strengthened we might be Jesus’ hands feeding the hungry and poor in our world today.
