Last weekend, eight members of the St. Mark’s family were blessed to go to Guyan, West Virginia to serve with Appalachia Service Project (ASP). We were able to help three families in need make their homes “Safer, Warmer, Dryer,” which is the motto of ASP.  We installed flooring, installed a storm door, worked on ceiling moldings, and installed siding across three properties.  We also got to know the home owners while we did our work.  Each night we enjoyed a hearty dinner and a time of devotion.  We went to bed tired but woke up energized at the prospect of serving God and neighbor in a unique way.

We plan to serve again with ASP in Guyan Valley in Spring 2020.  The trip will be open to all members over 18 years old.  We will make firm plans in the Fall, and we hope you’ll consider participating on this grace-filled trip!

Blessings,
